  Worked there for about 6 months, yes the staff are overworked. How much overworked? Well imagine me being a part time cashier having to work more hours than the manager and not being allowed to take days off because my notes are ignored. Thus why we never had a full staff list. the store was trashed almost all the time due to the lack of logging what we needed to order, thus the truck would deliver about a case of everything we sold regardless if we only sold one or all of said product. So we had massive overstock issues, and because we were understaffed truck didn't get out fast enough causing the back room to get crammed up with rolltainers, thus why they had to be moved out on the floor but may not be touched or finished until days later. some staff are nice to know, its just they way they handled their employees and the lack of care in any manager lead to it being a job that I couldn't live with.
  
  It's a great job to start out getting retail work experience in if it's the only place you can go. if you can get into say, family fare, you'd have a better more relaxed job then the stress hole DG gives you whenever you enter those doors.
  
  It's still a good place to stop and shop but just not a good place to settle down and work for the rest of your life.
